Twitter’s API is very powerful and there’s so much you can do with it. The acronym API stands for Application Programming Interface. Programmers use the Twitter API to make applications, websites, widgets, and other projects that interact with Twitter.

Use this to compare yourself to other Twitter users. It mesaures the relative power of a Twitter user. Calcualation is based on combination of the number of followers, power of followers, pace of your updates, completeness of your profile and few others.
Retweet Radar
It shows a list of most retweeted people and links and puts together a retweet cloud of terms that are being retweeted.
Tweet Stats
Can show all your Twitter stats in a graph. You can see your daily tweets, hourly tweets, shows your replys and what interfaces you use.
Twitter Karma
It’s a Flash application that fetches your friends and followers from Twitter when you click the “Whack!” button, then displays them for you, letting you quickly navigate through them. You can easily see who is following you and who’s not.

It’s a twitter monitor, it lets you “monitter” the Twitter world for a set of keywords and watch what people are saying.

This is a real time feed of people swearing on Twitter. This is more like a fun application, but i’m sure someone will find it useful, too.
