Thanks for comments all. Sometimes it is impossible to follow a schedule, indeed. Last two days, for instance, I haven't had time to do anything by schedule. I should have mention in the post that you don't always have to stick to the schedule, but having a general plan still helps. As wachingya said, planning is essential.

I was having 9-6 day job too when I started blogging. Adhering to schedule was very tough but planning is essential. Can't say I'm fully following what has been planned a day before, but definitely trying to. I really hope you manage to work out a system that works for you, to work smart in limited timing. I lie to myself over and over again by promising to do exactly what you are saying. I should say, I've lied (past tense)….this is ridiculous….the time I just go from here to there without getting anything accomplished. I'm like the housewife that did a “hundred things today” and not one of them are finished.

I have a blog notebook where I jot my ideas…it's empty. I specifically bought a planner (the old fashioned kind with pages and dates) and it's just as new as it was the day I got it. Nope, not any more….that's behind me. I'm getting it together. Thanks for the encouragement!

My lifestyle really doesn't allow me to set timre aside for blogging, I just need to do it as soon as I have a chance. If that means writing 25 posts in one shot then so be it.

Schedules have never been my strong point. I usually just stick with them for a day or two then go back to no schedule. However, they really do work and it something that I need to commit to in this coming year.
